
Malcolm Moore is a cinematographer born in Maryland, USA. His journey in the visual arts began in 2014 as a photographer and has led him to serve as the Director of Photography on narrative films, documentary films, and music videos. Utilizing strong sensibilities in visual storytelling and the complex realities of human nature, Malcolm brings nuance, adaptability, and intentional collaboration to every project. His work explores themes of memory, identity, connection, reclamation of history, and the retention of tradition and culture. His training includes the completion of the ASC 2018 Masterclass, ARRAY's 2021 Liberated Territory Masterclass, and the Sankofa Film Institute's 2024 Film Workshop led by Haile Gerima and Alan Ferguson. Some of his credits include Jon Batiste's “Für Elise - Batiste”, Immanuel Wilkins' "Matte Glaze", and the upcoming documentary, "As Quiet As Kept".
